In general, no wire cable guides are required in the rough opening for our horizontal flexible fabric fire protection closures. Invisible fire protection!
We consider maximum system dimensions up to 7.5 x 15 metres to be standard models. Larger dimensions can be achieved as special systems. As a reference property, we would like to mention the Schwaz City Gallery (Austria) here: 5.6 x 34.3 metres (width x drop length)!
Benefit from our innovative, ball bearing-mounted guide rails, which ensure reliable and low-wear closing and opening even in a draught. Equivalent EI30/EI90 protection objectives are possible with various compensation measures. To enable the pressurised water to divert in the event of sprinkler protection, we have developed a modified fabric for this and offer this as a special model if necessary.
Functionality
When opened, the textile is located on a winding shaft in an enclosure made of galvanised sheet steel above the opening to be closed.
The winding shaft is held in the opened position by a magnetic clamp integrated in the tubular motor. With the help of deflections, the system is closed by concealed wire cable guides in the lateral guide rails by means of gas pressure dampers or by means of a motor (in larger systems). During the closing process, the end strip rides into a recessed profile. The closing speed is approx. 10 - 15 cm per second.
Wiring with functional integrity is not required due to the gravity fail safe principle. Motor controllers, additional accessory components, as well as installation variations can be found in the section Control units.
